Advertising terms
These terms apply when you book an advert on Sapa Hustle through our advertising page. Sapa Hustle is run by Previd Digital, 41 Lombard Street, Newark, NG24 1XG, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Questions: [email protected].
1. How it works
- You choose a package and start date, submit your advert and pay. Your advert then waits for our review.
- We review every advert, usually within 24 hours. If we approve it, it runs for the days you booked. If we do not approve it, we refund you in full to the way you paid.
- A limited number of adverts share the advertising space at the same time, taking turns every few seconds. The advertising page shows the current number and timing. As the audience grows we may allow more adverts, which can include days you have already booked. We do not promise a set number of views or clicks. Players who paid to remove ads do not see adverts.
- Your private results page shows views (counted once per player per day) and clicks.
2. What is not allowed
Sapa Hustle is played by people aged 13 and over, so we do not accept adverts that:
- promote gambling, betting or lotteries;
- promote cryptocurrency trading or exchanges, forex or binary-options trading, trading signals, "investment" or get-rich-quick schemes, or anything that promises a return;
- are financial adverts from a firm that is not licensed (see section 3);
- promote alcohol, tobacco, vaping, drugs, weapons, adult or dating content;
- are religious campaigning, contain hate speech, or attack a person or group because of their tribe, religion, sex or other personal characteristic;
- are misleading or scams, copy another brand, or link to a page that asks for passwords or card details for a different company;
- use images, music, logos or names you do not have the right to use;
- link to anything harmful, illegal, or unsafe for teenagers.
We may refuse any advert, or remove a running advert that breaks these rules or that players report. If we remove an advert because it broke these rules after we approved it, we may keep the payment for the days it ran and refund the rest.
3. Financial and political adverts
Financial adverts. Banks, fintechs, savings, payments and insurance firms may advertise if they are licensed for what they advertise, for example by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), NAICOM, the FCCPC (for lenders) or the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). When you book, you give your regulator and licence number and upload your licence. We check it against the regulator's public register before we approve the advert. The advert must not promise returns, must show the real cost of any loan or fee where the law requires it, and must follow the advertising rules of your regulator.
Political adverts. Political parties, candidates and campaigns may advertise if:
- you give a "Promoted by" line with the name and address of who is paying and who it is for. We show it on the advert;
- the advert follows election law where it is shown, including only running during the official campaign period set by Nigeria's Electoral Act and INEC, and the UK digital imprint rules for UK elections;
- it contains no hate speech, no false claims about a person, and no content that could lead to violence.
Political adverts are labelled "Political advert" in the game. We accept adverts from all parties and candidates on the same terms.
4. Your responsibilities
- The details you give are true, and you are allowed to advertise the business.
- You own, or have permission to use, the image and words in your advert, and you let us show them in the game for the days you booked.
- Your advert and the page it links to follow the law where it is shown, including advertising and consumer law in Nigeria and the UK.
5. Payment, cancellation and refunds
- Prices are shown before you pay and include any tax we must charge. Payments are handled by Flutterwave, Paystack or Stripe.
- Before your advert starts you can cancel by email and we refund you in full. Once it has started, we refund the days not yet shown if we cannot show it because of a fault on our side.
- Adverts that are not approved are refunded in full.
6. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the game online, but we do not promise it will always be available. If adverts cannot be shown for a whole day because of a fault on our side, we add a day to your booking or refund that day. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
7. Privacy
We use your business name, email and payment record to run your booking, send your receipt and results, and keep accounting records. If you upload a licence, only our team can see it; we keep it with the booking record to show we checked it. See our privacy policy.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a business in Nigeria, you may also bring a claim in the Nigerian courts.
